I just got my 360 a week ago. After playing for 6 hours, it wasn't running very hot... the back fan felt about as warm as my forehead, the same temperature it felt after 20 minutes of play. My oblivion game has frozen up, but the music continues and I can still axcess the XBM or whatever it is called to return to the baldes/shut down console, and it has happened 5 minutes into playing, so I am asuming it is the game and not RRoD.

Also, I am thinking that 360 is $300 now, and then in august it goes back up to $350, and then in October they will have a $50 price cut across the board... may be a $100 for the elite becuase it is very overprice imo. This way they get people itching for more memory/cheaper price to jump onboard when it costs Microst less.

Xbox 360 has (very arguably) the best software lineup this fall. They have some of the best exclusives (Wii has arguably better) and the best 3rd party support (PS3 has roughly the same though). I don't see how 360 can go from that to failure in 2 years. Lets see what effect the $50 fire sale price cut had on American sales.
