So in your opinion, having a game on 1 console, and PC is no better than it being PS3/X360, or Wii/PS3/X360? Maybe it's just me, but it would seem that if a game came out on a 2 different mediums, that cater to different audiences, that it might see a stronger benefit than catering to 1 type of audience. If a game went to 1 console + 1 handheld (Animal Crossing), versus 2 consoles, or 3 consoles, I tend to think that it might benefit the 1 console + 1 handheld scenario better than 2 consoles, or 3 consoles, because the userbases aren't quite as similar as the console groupings would. |
The PS360 and PC now cater to different audiences? Up until this E3 when Microsoft decided they wanted to be the Wii the 360 has gone after NOTHING but the PC audience. The audiences are very close, and PC360 multiplat is absolutely the same as a PS360 multiplat. These aren't handhelds and consoles. These are two platforms playing nearly the same game (albeit 90% of the time the game runs/looks/plays better on PC).
