"To answer the question that was posted on your blog, there are black members in the development team. We do have staff working on the game, who are aware of the historical background and we are constantly checking these kinds of things with them."

 

This comment bothers me more.  Because, you know, a small group of developers represent the feelings of a population of a continent and race of people.

Choice of wording and such are what reveal the true understading and sensitivity people have.

 

That being said, it's a game.  If you are a poor African villager who thinks this game is racist then don't buy it.



I would cite regulation, but I know you will simply ignore it.
