I am offended. I can't believe he would be so arrogant as to assume he can use a trailer to determine who's on a development team. Oh, and I don't quite agree on the racial angle, too.

My actual take on the racial angle is more against the blog that started it. It tends to have that kind of tone with every story, and only rarely has a link to source their stories. Let me repeat that. The blog that started the uproar about racism in RE5 almost never cites sources for its stories. That sounds like yellow journalism to me.
Some people might see the trailers and get the wrong impression if they don't know the series, but that trailer was for core gamers. It wasn't put on TV. Those would likely be done properly, by people who know the market they are selling to (unless they are in Europe and their client is Sony
).
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
