If Toshiba knew the outcome back then, they would have included HD DVD in the 360 without boosting the price by much or any, and take the loss to win the format war, just like Sony is doing. But unlike Sony, Toshiba never lost a huge format war and thus, they couldn't play the trojan game like Sony did on the PS3.
