Interested in Anecdotal Evidence for PS3 sales following the Price Cut

I guess nothing personally, but on the Playstation forums i frequent you can see a large increase in "just got a PS3" and "so what should i get with my new PS3" type threads....nothing huge, but just a litle anecdotal evidence there.
