A quote from amazon: "The Wii Channel Menu will be the first screen shown on the television, as it easily integrates itself as part of people’s everyday lives. The Wii Channels are: Disc Channel, Mii Channel, Photo Channel, Forecast Channel, News Channel, Wii Shop Channel, Internet Channel and the Wii Message Board."
Hope that helped |
The Wii's online channel is no longer free... depending on what service you are talking about, that is. The internet channel itself (an Opera-created web browser) now costs like $5.00 or something. Everything else is free that I know of.

Personally, I would recommend the Wii. The wiimote/nunchuck combination is one of the best out there, I feel. The pointing adds so much to the control scheme, its not even funny. The motion sensing I like, but I can agree it is not enough to carry the control scheme alone. The Pointing, on the other hand.... amazing. Especially if you are used to the responsiveness of K+M, dual analog just won't cut it.
Please, PLEASE do NOT feed the trolls.
