Somewhat misleading. These are all "big" franchises, but not necessarily the biggest, especially God of War. Certainly Halo, Mario (and several iterations of it), Dragon Quest are bigger franchises that some of those listed. Of those that are listed, GTA and RE are available on other systems.

Note that this only looks at console exclusives (PC and handhelds are not considered). Significant titles (either for strong reviews, or strong franchise history) are in green.

IN summation:

360: 44 released exclusives (33 green), 47 unreleased (12 green)

PS3:8 released (3 green), 36 unreleased (11 green)

Wii: 21 released (5 green), 55 unreleased (14 green)

Understand that the unreleased games will have fewer "green" titles as new franchises have not had a chance to earn strong reviews (like Motorstorm and Gears of War).

It's clear that they don't count portable releases, Kwaad, as the Wii would also have a few more "green" franchises if DS iterations were included. As such, here are the last iterations of these games I could find on metacritic:

So unless I'm missing iterations that are more recent than this (which is possible, although I did try to do a thorough search), I believe you are wrong on all counts. Lastly, I think it's odd that you claim that the PS3 is about "new franchises," when the PS3 actually has the least number of new IP exclusives! (360 has 35, Wii has the most at 41, and PS3 the least at 25).

 Ok, I didnt plan on responding to this but.

Here are the large scale, hyped, 'new' things. No sequels, no movie ports. And no mini-game stackups. (not fair for the wii, but then agian, I dont consider mini-game.... stackups... games. At least not worth paying 30$ for. Screw the 50 they cost. 

Sony Has.

Resistance, Motorstorm. And to be released, Lair, Heavenly Sword, LittleBigPlanet,  Eye of Judgement, FolkLore, Home, Haze.

Microsoft Has,

To come, BlueDragon, Eternal Sonata, DogTag, Mass Effect, and Too Human.

Nintendo has,

to come, Boogie, Space Station Tycoon,  Dewy's Adventure, Disaster Day of Crysis, furu furu park, Dragon Blade, Zack & Wiki, Endless Ocean, NitroBike, Wii Fit, Wii MotorSports Airplane.

11 for Wii, 7 for PS3, and 5 for the 360.

Almost every game listed for the Wii is aimed at a younger audiance. Boogie, Dewy's Adventure, furufuru, dragonblade, zack, Endless Ocean, and Wii Motorsports. I am NOT saying not fun for older people tho. 

Just In terms of games for late teens, and adult gamers, the PS3 has the most 'new' franchise exclusives, And the 360/Wii tie in terms of what appeal to the older people. (I would take any 1 of the 360 games from microsoft over all the Wii ones)

And bold is what 1st party is doing to 'encourage' new growth. I didnt even count WarHawk, becuase it's a 'used' name, even though it hasnt been seen in 10 years.

Sony studios have at least 6 coming in the next 5.5 months.

Microsoft studios have 3 coming in the next 5.5 months.

Nintendo has 4 coming in the next 5.5 months.

However I would like to add, Wii fit is a mini-game thing but I feel it is so much more, due to the weight board thingie, and general appeal, so I included it. Overall the new franchises for the Wii so far seem like nothing special.  

Out of the list of games you listed as being aimed at  a younger audience I must question you on Dragonblade, Zack & Wiki, Wii MotorSports & Endless Ocean. What leads you to label these games as aimed at kids? Also I wouldn't say 7 out of 11 is "almost every game", it's not even 2 thirds.
