And to finalize: The end result is even if you want to argue if the PS3 will be the better-selling, superior console in 2 years, or so, this does not negate the fact that the reasoning behind releasing a game multi-platform is still a better choice. After all, if you have 2 consoles: one that has more systems sold right now, and another that might have more sold when you release your game, you'd want to release on both, and make the most money, right? It seems that PS3 owners have the whole "we're going to be #2 in 2-3 years, so games should be exclusive to the PS3" mentality. That doesn't work here, boys. We're arguing multi-platform existance on 2 very similarly selling systems. It's not like the PS3, if it does win, is going to do so by some ungodly margin. And as a company, what would you rather do: Bet on one system, or the other doing something insane to boost sales (and lets face it, neither company is really doing stellar in the HW department), or just release the game on both systems, and sell twice the units?

ok so naming elder scrolls as an example is flawed. ff13 will tell a different story in sales because at that time it will have closer installs bases and ff13 sells well in japan unlike any of the games you named before.
and i dont know what your talking about i dont care weather 360 gets ff13 vs cause its still not gonna help them from being in 3rd this gen. I was argung your flawed logic about the games you metioned before. how 360 can sell Western games. so every thing esle you said makes no sense as thats not what i was talking about.
