| Dogs Rule said: Paul did all of A Day in the life. Really well to boot. The fact that it was a medley with "Give peace a chance" made it even better. The rest of the band only sang backup, never replacing John. In what context did he say he wouldn't play NFLD? Was he listing places he wouldn't play, or did he just blurt it out in an unrelated conversation? Good news for Labrador then. ;) Seriously though, the Beatles did land in Gander international airport on numerous occasions at the height of their popularity. Also don't feel bad since like I said he has only done 3 venues this year and only one in NA (without counting the 2 songs he did with Billy Joel). I don't know "Woman" so I didn't pay particular attention to it, but it was all top notch. I have trouble imagining an act I'd like to see doing a better job. |
He said he wouldn't play here until the seal hunt ended during his, Heather Mills and Danny Williams appearances on Larry King Live. But as you mentioned, he doesn't play many live shows anymore, I may actually book a trip around it some year.
