"At $349, with a 60GB hard drive, we just don't think it is a compelling product compared with the PS3 at $399 with an 80GB HDD (along with more processing horsepower, Blu-ray, Wifi, HDMI, and going forward, more exclusive content)."

+ 10000000000000000

I'm a big 360 fanboy on these forums and I completly agree with that comment... If I had to buy a console today, I really can't say that I would buy a 360. $50 more gets me a Blu Ray player and a decent games library? Come on thats a good deal. The PS3 biggest problem has always been VALUE. With price cuts rolling, and library growing, the PS3 looks more and more attractive to new consumers...

So here's one of my letters to MS (I think its my third or fourth on vgchartz)

Dear MS.

I would like you to take these two facts into consideration

- Your console is only $50 cheaper then the competitors, but it offers more storage and a Blu Ray player
- Your competitor's BRAND NAME alone has single handlely outsold you in various countries, with no system seller for the first year and a half it was still able to keep up with you even though hit after hit has been released on the 360.

Maybe its time to do something drastic.. like lets say... a REAL price cut!!!

The problem is still the price. Do I think it's a great value? Yes, I recently bought one. But the games library for the 360 > PS3. It's arguable (not going to get into a fight) which console has a better future line-up. Some gamers won't play with Wifi due to lag. So that may or may not add value to someone. Somepeople are in the I'll buy a Blu-Ray player when they cost $50 like DVD players. So that may or may not add value to the cost for some. Xbox 360 has HDMI ports now. Personally I think making the 40 gig 80 gig did nothing for them. It would add zero incentive for me. I got a BC model, I wouldn't buy a non-BC version for more than $300 period. Especially with the economy, people are looking for a true price cut rather then adding more space to a console that is already loaded with features that most people don't value and won't use.

oooh, I was with you until that part. I think Wi-Fi and Blu-Ray is very important, especially moving forward,
