It comes down to what you want to use it for. If you're wanting all the multimedia features and the ability to emulate games on older systems, get a PSP. If you strictly want it for gaming, get a DS. Personally I am only interested in gaming so the DS is better for me. If you're looking for an argument from me in terms of which one to get I can only say this:
CHRONO TRIGGER DS.
