I just want to point out. Driver 5 Are un-released, and should be green, by their standards. EDIT: And the PS3 isnt about old franchises. It's about the new ones! |
It's clear that they don't count portable releases, Kwaad, as the Wii would also have a few more "green" franchises if DS iterations were included. Here are the last iterations of these games I could find on metacritic:
Driver (last iteration "Driver: Parallel Lines"):
http://www.metacritic.com/games/platforms/xbx/driverparallellines?q=driver
NBA (last iteration "NBA 07"):
http://www.metacritic.com/games/platforms/ps3/nba07?q=nba%2007
Singstar (last iteration "Singstar Pop Hits"):
http://www.metacritic.com/games/platforms/ps2/singstarpophits?q=singstar
Killzone (This is the only arguable one. Last iteration "Killzone" for PS2, as they aren't counting portable iterations for ANY console):

The Getaway:

So unless I'm missing iterations that are more recent than this (which is possible, although I did try to do a thorough search), I believe you are wrong on all counts (again, Killzone being the only possible exception, although they do apply this rule to all franchises on all consoles). Lastly, I think it's odd that you claim that the PS3 is about "new franchises," when the PS3 actually has the least number of new IP exclusives! 360 has 35, Wii has the most at 41, and PS3 has decidedly the least at 25.
Also, Kwaad, it would be nice if you could stay on topic. This thread is about pitching your preferred system, not criticising the preferred system of others. I chided Your Mother for this, and I think it's only fair I do the same for you! :p
