That's pretty much my point so far. If you have your PC at a desk and would like the casual, laying back on your sofa while your feet are propped on the coffee table" gaming experience, then yeah, a console can give that to you.
I have my PC hooked up to a 27" HDTV at my desk, and have my 32" HDTV downstairs in the living room for my console gaming. They both are different gaming experiences and neither one is better or wose than the other - they are just different experiences. IMO, console gaming is much more relaxed than PC gaming. Sitting on my sofa 3 meters away from my 32" TV is no comparison to the intensity of sitting less than a meter away from my 27" TV, but having friends over for some fun console gaming is a completely different social experience, and both are a blast!
