How is it any more silly then if it had been a post like this (in 2007):

Going to the new game store at the mall on Tuesday, and I'm wondering which I should buy?
I'm not the biggest FPS fan at all. I haven't played too many, and I didn't like System Shock 2.
Mario, I liked most of those games (SMW, SMB and SMB3 were great, 64 was okay, and I hated SMB2, still haven't played SMW2 or SML1/2)
I heard they are both very good.
Both sound like they'd be pretty good, and I heard quite a few people say that they are both worthy of being Game of the Year nominees. I'm also wondering if BioShock is as good as people say.
So which should I buy?"

P.S. I hold Galaxy and BioShock in the highest regards. BioShock slightly less so, but still the 3rd best game of 07 and one of my top 20 favorites. Oh, and I like FPS games, that was just an example
