that really depends on how you are looking at it.   sure it will make some money...but would make a great deal more multi platform.   especially those games that dont share the same status as a MGS.

Every game known to man would make more if it was multiplatform. But exclusives aren't about spending tons of money, they're about showing that the hardware has appealing software that warrants the purchase of said hardware

 

Your last sentence is what first party software is for, not third party. Third party software is just there to make the most money they can.
