"Like other middleware solutions, game engines usually provide platform abstraction, allowing the same game to be run on various platforms including game consoles and personal computers with few, if any, changes made to the game source code" -from wiki actually you have that completely backwards EDIT: also, care to answer whether yu believe the ps3 version is a port? |
- You automatically fail for using the wiki to prove anything.
- If they created the engine, and then created a finished game with that engine, and then decided to make that engine work on every other platform you would be right.
- They created that engine from the ground up (or at least very early on) to work on every platform. That means they made it as one to work for all consoles. So no, I am not backwards on that. Our engine does the same exact thing.
- It's not a port. It is being made with the PS3 version as the main platform but I don't think it's a port. If it were a port the game would already be released, not released simultaneously with the 360 version.
