I'd consider a price-cut unlikely. They are, frankly, in a possition where it's unnecessary. They aren't getting beat badly by the PS3 by any means, and they could cut the pro to $200 and still not make a dent in the Wii's sales. On top of that, their sales are tracking higher this year than last. Really, things are going pretty well for them as it is, and the brand is profitable for the first time in its life. They won't drop the price until sales start to drop off, and with the holidays just on the horizon that won't be until next year unless something big happens. Sony would have to strike back hard to force MS to drop price, and that would pretty much require a price drop from them as well.
