N'Gai Croal and Pachter: Sony the worst of the big 3 at E3?

This is exactly how I saw it actually. MS had the megaton, Ninty had funky hardware for next year ... but Sony primarily had games we already knew about.

E3 is definitely not what it used to be though, we all need to scale down our expectations for future shows. I wouldn't be surprised to see one of the big 3 "pull out" completely, and signal the permanent death of the show.

I would prefer staggered shows (throughout the year) for the big 3 (and EA, etc..) where they can really strut their stuff. Ninty would probably just save money & do nothing though...
