Do you prefer JRPGs or WRPGs?

That is probably because WRPGs are generally less accessible than JRPGs

 

Perhaps. Admttedly, much of it is to do with what I'm used to. I grew up on JRPG's (although I think Kasz said it better, it's essentially traditional RPG's).

There are a few exceptions to my turn-based only preference like Diablo, WoW, Dark Cloud, Fable (seemed fun, limited playing time). I can't put my finger as to why, but I really disliked Oblivion, KOTOR and Bauldur's Gate.

 

I am suprised you didn't like Baldur's Gate since that game and it's sequel are considered to be two of Bioware's best games as well as two of the best RPGs of all times, especially BG2.

 

I know... I'm ashamed to admit it, really. But I was anxious to play it and I just could not get into it, not that I thought it was bad or anything. Because of that, I didn't even bother trying BG2.
