Why is everyone calling "The Conduit" generic?
We've hardly seen any gameplay videos, and we know it has puzzle aspects to it. It's rather early to grade that aspect.
It has the Wiimote, which immediately differentiates from 99% of all shooters.
The screenshots being referred to are either old or horrible, or both. The game still has 9 months of development to go through.
Also, seeing as half the Wii owners on here are absolutely pumped about it (and on IGN), I think its success would depend on how well they market it, i.e., market it at all.

To lavish praise upon this title, the assumption of a common plateau between player and game must be made. I won't open my unworthy mouth.
