I feel your pain man. I have been told similar things. When I was going to NY I told my friend I would look for a Wii (even though they were hard to find). He asked me if I would not feel stupid playing with my hands in the air and said I`d better get a PS triple. I was speechless for some seconds and answered him: Yes I would really look cool playing Motorstorm.
It is not likely he knew PS3 games out he just assumed that it is better since PSX and PS2 had more games. I do not oppose discussion about video game systems, but when someone tell me to avoid a system because it is "gay", "retarded" or "Kiddy" I lose all my hope in mankind.
