Yeah, simply saying waggle CAN be used doesn't mean that beats getting something that looks like you're playing Advent Children. Hell you can throw waggle into anything, that doesn't improve it, many would say it does just the opposite.

Like Torillian said, with FPS the wii makes a marked improvement over the dual analogue set up in precision, speed and ease of use. But waggling instead of pressing X to attack? I fail to see the upgrade.

 Vagabond allow me.

In turnbased RPGs and even action RPGs that are designed for it the pointer function of the Wii would add a lot of value. Stuff like menu selection for potions gesture based summons and improved targeting for starters. But allow me to go even further and suggest such things as turning your character fromj defensive(back Row) to (front row) offensive modes by simply targetting and twisting the controller.

RPGs already designed for a standard controller would not really benefit since they were deisgned with a different system in mind but even in the FF remakes I prefer using the touch screen interface over the older system for menus and even targeting. If FF 14 were to be made for the Wii with the pointer it could open new strategies and even more options with menu based systems while keeping a live battleground and without blocking or interferring so much with game play.

hink about the pointer as a mouse and than imagine palying Diablo with a dual analog controller or a wii mote.
