Here are things that will be benefited from both consoles that I thought of.

Turn Based Rpgs-WII
IR Pointing(Allowing for quicker menu selection)

...moving on

Some gestures in between during battles. This would probably make it more fun. Like lets say you are trying to do a special attack, but you must get the gesture right for it to work correctly. This would also use the ir, and motion controls. I think it could add something refreshing to turn based rpgs, and definitely worth the lesser quality graphics(that could still look better btw if the art style is nice).

In other words, making special moves a novelty? After the 3rd or 4th time, it would just become an annoyance. The way FFX handled Overdrive's was perfect and something similar to that would be fine.

Turn Based Rpgs- Hd Consoles.
Graphics- Most Jrpgs that aren't final fantasy don't need technically impressive graphics. A good art style could make up for this. The superior power of the other consoles does allow for developers to have more power to express their art style. So I would give it to that.

There is more to Graphics then simple the  raw aesthetic appeal of its characters. There is the opportunity to have tons of stuff happening at one time, interactive and sprawling environments and just the all-around technical aspects of the game.

Action Rpgs- Wii

Full-Blown Motion Controls- In games that have alot of enemies I could see main attacks being mapped to the A or B button, then specials or magic being mapped to motion controls. For games that don't then I could see motion controls being used for everything.

The first option of a mix of buttons/motions is hardly a benefit. When I'm in the heat of battle, I want to be able to get my special attack off quickly. Not wag my hand around and hope the game picks up the motion. (it works in Smash Bros because of the pace and style of the fighting) As for the second option of total motion control fighting, if you put that into a game like Kingdom Hearts, you would have to take frequent breaks. My wrist/arm is sore after long sessions of Boom Blox, I could only imagine what would happen after a big battle in Kingdom Hearts.
