Perhaps not reasonable, but regardless, the more consoles sold relative to the 360, the easier/cheaper it will be to secure 3rd party exclusives. The PS3 is progressing well imo, and assuming that current trends continue, that we will see more 3rd party games for the PS3.
Look at it this way, right now, the 360 sells 1.35 games for every PS3 game sold. What will happen when this ratio goes down to 1 :1 ? A lot of people are predicting the 4th quarter of this year or perhaps 2nd quarter of 2009.
Either way, once the PS3 starts selling as much software as the 360 it will have a lot more muscle to negotiate with, so its all good as I see it.
