Noooooooooooo. I do not dislike OoT. I love it. I am what you would call a "Zelda bitch". I love them all. But in my humble opinion OoT is not the best Zelda ever. It was the first Zelda I played. In the middle of the game I started playing Link to the past and it stole my attention from it`s bigger brother. A year later I got a GBC and Link`s Awakening DX and was shocked to see how a game developed for a system inferior to Nes could have so much depht (it was a port after all). I have played the original Zelda in a shitty emulator about 3 years ago and it got me hooked to the PC like no other game (save for Chrono Trigger) did. Yes 3 years ago, it made me ditch my PS2. When I decided to buy a Wii I did not know it was the best thing since penicilin, my objective was to play TP and WW (I skipped Gamecube sadly). This is what makes Zelda unique. No one would skip Metal Gear SOL to play the old Nes game. In Zelda you can not say the same.
OoT had the best music in the series. It made the best jump from 2d to 3d of it`s generation. The story line was deeper than any of the previous Zeldas. What I dislike about it is that most guys who say it is the best only played OoT. These people look down on WW and think TP is only a extension to OoT. It is also a little short compared to LTtP and Link`s Awakening (battlewise I mean). The only Zelda I never got into was the second nes game.
