Good luck Rubang. I feel you on the financial woes. I'm in the pit as well and trying to find a crappy job to get me through until my new job kicks in.
Here's what I used to do when I lived on my own. Of course you gotta have some money first, but anyways...Get 50 bucks, go to the grocery store, buy nothing but tea bags, Kool-Aid, ramen, sandwich meat, bread, and any little thing you want on a sandwich(cheese, mustard, etc). If you want a fancy meal, be sure to splurge on noodles and sketti sauce. I practically lived off this stuff for a few years, with the occasional purchase of some fish, veggies, and hot wings. If you really wanna stretch that cash, just buy an assload of ramen and use the heck out of that microwave/stove.
As someone said, you might want to check into unemployment benefits. I'm not sure if it's different in California, but here you have to have worked and payed taxes in the previous year to get an unemployment check.
You might also want to donate some blood to get a few bucks. Besides, your blood has gotta be worth more than a filthy commoner's blood.
