Congrats on the purchase - it's a fine machine! One hint: be sure to turn on the smoothing on the PS menu when you play PS2 games, this minimizes jaggies on widescreens. Also, don't know if they've fixed this, but be sure the RGB setting is on full - mine was turned down, for some reason, which made colors less vibrant (this affects movies as well as gameplay).
