It's definitely gone.  I have no idea why they would take a demo down, but it's not there.

 

I just checked and you're right, it's not longer there. It's still up on the UK store however.

 

I really don't want to go through the trouble of making up a BS address and tying a second email to a UK account. Maybe for a Japanese account, but not for the UK store... I'm gonna see if I can get it by logging into my friend's account and downloading it from his download history.

Alas, it did not work.
