Sony is phasing out the 60 gb to be replaced by the 80gb

I'm pretty sure it's only bundled with Motorstorm because of the new maps coming out next month.

No one knows the future, but this is common sense.

Notice I never made a prediction one way or the other, because I don't KNOW.  None of us do.

 

This is what I have been saying all along.  I want to clarify that.  I never said that FOR SURE, the PS3 would remain at the $599 pricepoint.  All I said was that it is a possibility, and provided sound logic as to why it would remain there.

 

The problem is, FIRST ckmlb stated AS A FACT that the PS3 would fall back to the $499 pricepoint after the 60gb PS3 clears out.  And up until this point he STILL fails to CONSIDER that the PS3 might POSSIBILY stay at the $599 pricepoint.  I see both as possibilities, but I won't state either as fact.

 

According to Darc Requiem, Kaz Hirai stated that the PS3 would remain at the $599 pricepoint in an interview, (since this is coming from a Sony executive, not a Sony fanboy on a videogame forum,) so if I had to lean either way, I would towards that side, but I still won't state it as fact, much less even make an absolute prediction.
