Some of the oldest games in the world are played pretty casually... Ever heard of card games? Most people play them casually just to have fun. I don't see any problem with video games becoming a part of that phenomenom.

I thought my point was pretty clear even if my writing wasn't very precise. To elaborate, what I meant was that most people play card games casually just to have a little fun or to kill some time while they're with friends. I think that's pretty close to what people think of when they talk about casual games.

The so called core gamers also play to have fun, but they do it much more regularly and take it as a hobby, not just casual fun. Isn't that the difference?
