Its amazing that this little announcement has turned the PS3 fans into "March 2009! FFXIII savior of the PS3! Believe!"

At any rate, lets remember folks: FFXIII isn't getting ported from the PS3 to X360. The PS3 has yet to play XIII on a system as of yet. XIII is playable using Crystal Tools engine which is on PC, and when the game is done, it'll be translated to PS3.
And I'm certainly willing to bet that with Microsoft now having such a big game on their console, they'll use all of that evil moneyhatting money to help Square deliver a great game on their X360 version.
After all, it's not like we haven't seen awesome JRPGs on the X360 already (Lost Odyssey).
Back from the dead, I'm afraid.
