If you own a non HD system and don't want it to look like crap and full of Jaggies, Plasmas are MUCH better. Really their picture quality is better overall too. I play my Wii and PS2 on a 42 inch Samsung Plasma (Wii with component cables) and my friend plays his Wii with component cables on his LCD... and man let me tell you, the difference between quality of my non-HD games on my TV and his non-HD games on his TV is unbelievable. Even his 360 looks better on my TV than on his. I HIGHLY recommend Plasma over LCD.
