wow, once again the PS consoles and DS are spot on for VGC, but Wii and Xbox are off.

Woah! Major undertracking for COD4 (VGC is at 900k).
All 3 systems were overtracked.
Wii by about 200k (1.1m vs. 1.3m)
X360 by 150k (840k vs. 1.02m)
PS3 by 40k (500k vs. 540k)
...Roughly including 10% for Canada.
DS, PS2, and PSP are almost on the money.
Back from the dead, I'm afraid.
DS: 1,715,546
Wii: 1,304,870
360: 1,020,659
PSP:600,830
PS2:591,013
Ps3: 543,595
Vgcharts numbers
Lot of software undetracked really. Seems that we didn't increase enough for the holidays. Oh well, but still a damn good estimation here.
...And it looks like every X360 game (sans GH3, which seems way overtracked), was vastly undertrack.
Back from the dead, I'm afraid.
Don't forget that VGChartz's numbers cover the whole of America, not just USA. Canada is pretty significant.
Hardware numbers are pretty close to NPD!

But, remember that VGChartz's numbers for America have 10% of Canada in total sales. So, just picking the 90% of USA sales, it's a sure thing that VG Chartz had figures very similar to NPD's.
It sounds good when you say "For the People", but what you really want is... a stronger army than the Knights, and the evil power to control the people.

Matt said DS blew everything away so either VGChartz had Wii higher than NPD (which was the case) or DS was higher in NPD.
Really impressing Xbox360 numbers.
The numbers are in the same trend as the NPD. Good Work ioi !
Software isn't so far off and it's one of the toughest things to predict.
