When was the last bad actual Mario game again?

Mario and Sonic at the Winter Olympics are about the only example which barely counts, other than that, Mario games are generally pretty amazing.

Why would you want amazing games to go away?

Like everyone said... There is a lot of Sub-Mario game like Mario tennis and they are always at least good and the Mario Main games are freaking over 95% all the time... so why change that...

If sonic take the role of holding the platforming genre... we'll see another genre die just like platform/shooter (contra like)

sonic? please... i think people would agree that you need a quality series to 'head' a genre. Halo heads FPSs, God of War heads Beat'emUps and MARIO heads platforming

Yeah and then we'll rip Mickey Mouse from Disney. You can't have Nintendo without Mario. The first thing I think of when I think Nintendo is Mario. Plus the majority of Mario game are of VERY high quality so I don't see what your problem with him is.
