according to VGCHARTS :

the PS2 is 134,237,574 unit sold

the NDS is 124,194,896 unit sold

09 January 2010.

so when do you think the DS will catch the PS2 ?

My guess is June 2010.

U expect Ds to sell 10 million in 6 months?

I know its a monster but thats too much.

Last year DS sold over 11 millions in the first 6 months of the year...considering it had a new model (DSi) which was big, this year it has DSi XL, which will be smaller than DSi but still will move some numbers...9-10 millions is a good prediction for the first 6 months I think.

I think DSi XL will give DS a early boost closer to PS2 sales, and if DS does very well this year I expect the DS to top PS2 Q4 2010. DS has already walked past PS2 in UK and in Austrlia like someone said, and will do soon in the USA too. DS will top about 145 MIllion before January 1st 2011.
