Forums - Nintendo Discussion - The black list; Games taht Nintendo are not shipping anymore

--OkeyDokey-- said:

A lot of these games aren' event that old. Is this normal?

Yes.

The vast majority of games cease printing within a month or two of release. Most don't ever get a second printing. And for all the talk about Nintendo Evergreens* the majority of even Nintendo titles have a very finite lifespan.

*This in no way is meant to reflect a skepticism that Nintendo really has lots of evergreens.

Around the Network

That stinks, I eventually wanted to get a few of those games. >_>

Nintendo still doomed?

They are taking after Disney and are going into the vault!!!!!!!! to be released later at a higher price point with diamond, platinum, 2-disc special, and gold versions.

Like I said before, Nintendo is not in the market of competing with itself. This explains long delay time between releases, quick announcement-release times, and even this.

I was hopping to eventually get some of these.
