Seems Pro Evolution Soccer is holding strong on PS2 and Xbox 360, with the PS3 version dropping to #7. It also seems Xbox 360 software sales are rising, as Halo 3 went from #8 to #3, Forza Motorsport #24 to #16; on the other hand Orange Box and PGR 4 dropping rappidly. Probably because of the launch of the Xbox 360 Value Pack on November 1. Motorstorm and Resistance sales are also slowly dropping which could mean PS3 sales slowly returning to old levels. Simpsons debut at #10, #24, #27 and #34, but no PS3 version? So it sold less than Wii and NDS version?

Opinions?

You aint found shit!

yea, people will never want to use the 360 controller for PES right, that's what i've been hearing.

currently playing: Skyward Sword, Mario Sunshine, Xenoblade Chronicles X

Good news for Microsoft in UK then.

PES is a huge franchise, not only for MS but for the UK and Europe. PES was a million seller on the X360. If the X360 can become the lead platform for PES, it might send a hint to developers.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

"Konami’s ‘Pro Evolution Soccer 2008’ keeps EA off the top of the All Formats Top 40 for a second week, selling twice as much as ‘FIFA 08’ despite a drop of 52% in sales from its launch week.

‘FIFA 08’ is No2 in the All Formats Chart for a third consecutive week, ahead of EA’s new franchise ‘The Simpsons Game’ which debuts at No3 on 4 formats. THQ’s ‘Ratatouille’ continues to sell well, increasing sales week-on-week since launch 5 weeks ago, rising one place from No5 to No4. Retailer bundling gives Master Chief a resurgence, helping to boost sales of ‘Halo 3’ by 46% and pushing Microsoft’s highly acclaimed title 3 places up the chart from No8 to No5. It looks like ‘Football Manager 2008’s season in the top flight of the All Formats Top 10 could be over soon as it slips 3 places to No6. EA’s ‘The Sims 2: Castaway’ breaks into the All Formats Top 10 in its second week of release, aided by the launch of the PSP version, giving EA three All Formats Top 10 titles this week.

Positions No8 to No10 in the All Formats Chart are all occupied by DS exclusives from Nintendo, with ‘More Brain Training’ and the original back in the Top 10 at No8 and No9 respectively, supported by a new advertising campaign featuring actors such as Patrick Stewart and Julie Walters. Time in the All Formats Top 10 for ‘The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass’ looks to be running out as it falls from No4 to No10. There are only 2 other new releases in the All Formats Top 40 – ‘Timeshift’ from Vivendi at No24 and another newly launched EA franchise ‘Hellgate: London’ at No34."

Dissapointing drop for PES 08.  At this momentit looks like it is going to get an ass kicking by FIFA 08 in sales (boo hiss).

Halo 3 and Forza 2 have become the favourite bundle titles with retailers so I would expect both of them to have strong slaes over the coming months.

Resistance and Motorstorm will continue to drop down the charts as the 60GB model becomes harder to find. It should be gone by the end of this month.

Overall it looks like it has been a slow week for sofware sales. Simpsons taking No3 in all format depsite only getting one version in top 20 (no 10) can't be good.

Nintendo getting some competition on the Wii.

And I thought Orange Box would be a lot higher.

In the uk pes 360 > pes ps3 In the rest of europe pes ps3 > pes 360 Overall in europe pes ps3 > pes 360 that's what developers will look at.

Looking at the thread title, I thought the first chart was all of Europe, not only UK. Kind of misleading.

i'm pretty sure the 360 version sells better in france. Consider that france + UK is 50% of the market it's hardly domination.

No, uk week one in terms of market share for pes the 360 had 30% and the ps3 had 27%, hardly any difference. For every other chart that came out pes on the ps3 was above the 360 version and in most cases it was several places above the 360.

The folks at NUK really know how to market the DS and Brain Training. NoA could really learn a lot from them. Hopefully the new leadership in NoA will straighten the USA marketing out.

LOL @ Carnival Games outselling HS.
