I love Harvest Moon: Magical Melody for the Gamecube.

Magical Melody was fun. I especially liked how it had an overall story. But it didn't offer some of the more social environments you could find in the others. And I couldn't plant 180 sweet potato plants in the fall cuz I built a barn on the wrong field....

You're missing Friends of Mineral Town for the Gameboy.

FofMT is pretty much the same game as Back to Nature. Its still a great game, and I own it.. on both the GBA and DS and PSP lol

Iv never played a Harvest Moon game, but I am interested, whats a good starting point? Im thinking of gettng its spinoff game Rune Factory on Wii to lull me into the series.

Rune factory is a good starting place. I haven't played the wii version yet, but i've played the ds versions. Same idea as harvest moon but you save the world fight monsters and forge items along side growing crops and getting married. If you enjoy the farming aspects but want more of a challenge in growing crops get HM Tree of Tranquility for the Wii. The only downside to it IMO is load times. they aren't terrible though
