@coolbeans Did you read my quote? I said it might if the crazy good Bravia deal was included in the months figures. Obviously Cyber Monday isn't included with the November numbers. I just wasn't aware of that at the time. This is the first time I've paid attention to NPD.

well 360 amay have won the month but currently the ps3 is back to beating the 360 again in the US after all those 360 deals and stuff and the most important thing to note is that the ps3 won the all important black friday week. im pretty sure the ps3 will outsell the 360 in decemberun unless the 360 gets some specia offers like in november

lol true that, everyone was expecting the 360 to outsell the ps3 in november anyway so why are people now acting surprised, yea the ps3 mayhvae gave the 360 a beating on black friday but the 360 outsold the ps3 for most of the month before black friday anyways.

hard to predict for december. I also thought for sure that ps3 beat 360 again for the fourth month, but one thing's for sure, we can't bet against soccer mom that sees the 199$ 360 as a good value.

As I posted elsewhere, this is ridiculous! If you look at the WORLD sales, 360 got it's ass kicked in November, 1,735,000 ps3's to 1,056,000 360's. That's 679,000 MORE ps3's sold in November than 360's! That's 64% more PS3's than 360's. For every 50 xbox 360's sold, 82 ps3's were sold! Talk about being selective, that would be like Sony bragging about sales in Japan of ps3's over 360's, it doesn't mean squat.

You're right, people are just flipping the script or being quiet now that the NPD's are out and the 360 actually sold more.

And for those that think the 360 will sell less than the PS3 for NPD numbers in December . . . why?  I've seen some say that its because the 360 won't have MW2 launching or the Walmart deal, but what will the PS3 have to change the order in December?  This isn't about people wanting a PS3 but settling on the 360 because of a deal.  People are buying what they WANT.  And its obvious that, looking at the November NPD numbers, the console people wanted more was ... the Wii.

I wouldn't bet again M$ repeating this month's results...I really thought they would come in a close 3rd place...not over 100K better. They have a Walmart deal, and chances are they are going to have something big in the shopping week before Xmas, so yeah...another close one. The thing about it is this...Black Friday was HUGE for Sony...wow! Do they have anymore of those bundles?
