It's ok posting a bunch of PS3 games but that doesn't mean it has the better line up, look I can do it too!

Splinter Cell Conviction + Mass Effect 2 + Halo Reach + Alan Wake + Fable III + Rare + Natal + MechWarrior + Lionhead ect ...

 

That's how they can seriously be considered 'equal'

the thing is those games first iteration already being on console execpt for alan wake, and conviction, and look like they will give minor boost to hardware.

pushing systems sony does have advance, and that was he mean, metacritic rating and software sales are another thing.

At this point in either console an individual title doesnt push systems.  If the public continues to see quality software being developed and released then the sales will continue to be strong if the console is priced correctly.  There is no 1 piece of software on any console this generation at this point that will do anything more than a minor blip on hardware.



Its libraries that sell systems not a single game.

the thing is, first iterations of game do, god of war did 6-7 years with the ps2 on the market.

and also the thing sony doens't have 1 piece of software but a avalanche of first iterations titles, god of war 3, FF13 and Gran turismo 5.

Its to early to tell. If 360 has a price cut, or if motion controllers become mainstream, or even if wii HD gets released will all factor in on system sales.

So far I would say PS3 will win again, mostly due to it's selling in 3 markets vs 2 for the 360.

Sure, but you know damn well All 3 are the first iterations and will push hardware.  That might be something you are scared of, iam not sure why.  Its inevitable that thsoe 3 will sale some consoles.

Oh sure, they'll push hardware.  Well, except God of War, that franchise's selling power tends to get massively overblown.

2010 Hardware Sales Predictions

Wii: 20m- Sales will drop, but not by much.

PS3: 13.5m- It sold 12m in 2009, its only common sense it will sell more this year.

Xbox 360: 11m- It sold 11m in 2008 and 2009, I think it will sell the same.

My Fanboy Speech...

Why do you have to make excuses to defend a product that you purchased, but that's the only connection you have to it, you don't make it, you don't lose or gain money on it. I don't see where all of the defensiveness comes in, there is no reason for you or anybody else to feel obligated to defend it. Now I would understand if one of you were a developer for the product and you slaved over said product only to hear somebody call it stupid or a piece of junk. But none of you developed it, none of you are mature enough to realize that. Choosing a product all comes down to preference, you chose said product because it is best for you. Simple as that!
