i was wondering if i can get some advice on this.

basically it will run for 30 mins before 2 red lights appear(on the left side of the light ring) console then just stops dead.

support site says this is overheating.

i registered my console on http://www.xbox.com/en-GB/support/default.htm and they will send a label in my email that i print off and attach to the parcel i have to send.

they mention something about a refundable charge, that you get back after 20 days

does anyone know how much charge there is? the support number is just an automated messsege asking you to register your console online for repair. i bought it on 14-04-08

does anyone have any experiance with a return like mine?

console was delivered today so that was 1 week to service center in germany and back again.

im pretty impressed with the speed of the return, came with a credit card size peel off card with a code for 1 months gold.

i cant wait for last week of december now to pick up some sweet 360 game deals.

just an overheating problem, it's not a proper red ring.

What a GIANT shock! 360's don't break.

3 rings is what ppl refer to as the proper red ring, on support site that has a 3 year warranty as with e74, but 2 ring overheat isnt on the 3 year warranty.

i wanted to know will it be fixed for free or will there be charge, minimal hopefully.

not being bad mind but thats what u get for having a 360

well i actually need it now more than before, as im trying to manage my hd space on 360, hence i got rid of dmc4 and oblivion on ps3 and got 360 version. so i really need my 360 back to working order.

But remember it worth having a xbox has the best games ever (sarcasm)

my 360 has died 6 times , im one my 7th wondering how long it will last, i play my ps3 the most by far , and im still on my original.
