Forums - Gaming Discussion - So what kind of worldmap will FFXIII have?

I haven't actually been  interested in FFXIII all that much since,well around 2007, and I have only watch a few videos of it now and then wich have pretty much only shown cutscenes and a few ingame battlesceens.

 

So my question is do anyone know wich type of worldmap it will have?

Will it have the boring type (in my opinion) it had in FFX and even more so in FFXII or will it have the "oldschool" type (wich I LOVE) it had in FF4,6,7,8 and 9?(never played 1,2,3,5).



If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing   (mostly)

There'll be no worldmap, like FFX, I believe.

Versus will have a worldmap, though, if that's any consolation.

As if the lack of the oldschool victory fanfare isn't bad enough

Of course it has a world map they showed it in the trailer!

I think it has an FFXII style Worldmap, which I liked BTW.

I dunno, I stopped reading Final Fantasy news a few months ago, so maybe I missed something new, but last I heard there was no worldmap.

I think that there is a worldmap, and it was shown in one of the trailers, I would look for it but it's 3:30 A.M and I have to go to bed xD.

If i'm wrong, I really wished the old school maps would return. I loved just wandering about aimlesly while getting into random battles just for the fun of it ;)
