Forums - Gaming Discussion - What game(s) are you currently playing + a small review

DS
Scribblenauts - Probably my favorite game this gen, period.

GBA
KH CoM - It's better then people told me, but the main reason I'm playing it is to get a better understanding of KHII and 358.

Wii
TMNT Smash Up - Great fighting game with awesome online, if you like the brawler genre don't miss it.

Spyborgs - looks amazing plays like your standard beat em up, and has some cool finisher moves, but nothing too special here.

PS3
Batman AA - Best... super... hero... game... ever...

MaxwellGT2000 - "Does the amount of times you beat it count towards how hardcore you are?"

Wii Friend Code - 5882 9717 7391 0918 (PM me if you add me), PSN - MaxwellGT2000, XBL - BlkKniteCecil, MaxwellGT2000

Currently playing:

Kirby's Adventure (NES) My 1st playthrough, Im at world 7, loving it so far, SO much better then Kirby's Dream Land

Animal Crossing: City Folk (Wii) Im hooked to this thing

F-Zero: GX (GCN) Trying to unlock all the AX stuff, hard as hell but fun and satisfying

Wii Fit (Wii) Losing weight is always fun :D

Wario Ware: Twisted (GBA) Trying to unlock all the souvenires, God their's alot

The Legend Of Zelda: Link's Awakening (GB) best Zelda handheld game ever

Enemy Territory: Quake Wars (PC)

- Beautiful graphics, advanced team play, well crafted maps, superbly balanced. There's absolutely nothing to complain about. Best online shooter ever made. It's perfect. 10/10

Wolfenstein (PC)

- Nice and atmospheric single player campaign, but multiplayer is very simple.
8/10

Far Cry 2 (PC)

- Grafics and atmosphere is better than any other shooter this gen. The weapon feel is perfect. Some missions and driving from A to B can get tedious, but the story ties well to real world Africa in an interesting way.
9/10

PS3 - Katamari Forever - I've only ever played the PSP version before, so I can't compare to PS2 versions. It's satisfying my rolling needs just fine, but doesn't have the charm of the PSP version. Some of the songs have been remixed for the worse - the movies and music just don't hit you in the face with japanese oddness. The local mulitplayer is tiny - 3 co-op and 3 vs levels which is irritating. Why co-op wasn't for every level is beyond me. 7/10

PSP - Mytran wars. Advance wars style gameplay. Terrible cutscenes and overall plot. Ignoring the story, gameplay is ok but random crits can completely destroy you and the rest of your level. Will probably struggle through it so I can play with the upgrades, but a lot of them already seem un-necessary (1/4 of the way through). 6/10

PC - Civilization 4. Great civ fun. Pity my laptop burns me when I play it for any sustained period of time. 10/10.

F.E.A.R. (X360) - I find the game boring so far, I like the FPS genre but this game just seems tooboring for me. Might stop playing after my next time playing it. I hope it picks up from there.

it doesnt pick up, it kind of goes the opposite direction

the ending is cool tho, makes it kind of worth it

wont be many achievements tho, theyre all brutal or glitched out

Thanks for the heads up. I'm going to try and grunt my way through finishing this thing.

Now Playing: Crysis 2

Last Finished: BulletStorm

Online IDs: PSN: computermaximus, XBL: computermaximus

Assassin's Creed for 360.

I picked it up for $9 at Wal-Mart's anniversary sale (which adds to my Orange Box and Mass Effect $9-$10 scores). I haven't got too far into it so far, so I can't get a final review, but so far it's pretty cool. The graphics are quite good, with the high panoramic views of the cities being amazing. The combat is pretty limited with just a sword right now, but there's more weapons to be had along the way that should hopefully spice it up a bit. It's getting me psyched for the sequel. ;).

Consoles Owned: Atari 2600, NES, Sega Genesis, Sega Saturn, N64, Gamecube, Wii, XBOX360

^ Always nice to meet the fans of one of one of my personal favorite games of all time.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.

Very nice game. Good fighting, good villians. Nice puzzles. Amazing game. Water Temple is a little annoying though.

Folklore: Highly underrated. It has a lot of content and the combats are really cool. Graphics are nice too.   8.6/10
