Forums - General Discussion - Post and discuss your first post on this site.

Ok, so I thought it would be fun to look back at our origins, so to speak ;)  Basically, just do what the title says.  Go through your post history and re-post your first post and then discuss it.  Generally, your first post is the reason you joined the site, some point you wanted to make or what not.  Attitudes often change over time, so you could look at things very differently now then you did then.

So, I'll start it off with my first post

yeah, Halo 3 has the whole replay movie thing.  You can cut clips and shoot from different angles and all that.  They also have a very similar feature to what you are showing here on Killzone when you go to bungie.net.  There you can pull up what they call "heat maps" that show you all sort of different information.  they will have a heat map for each of the maps in multiplayer, and then you can pull up data on those maps.  For example, if you wanted to look at where you do most of your killing, you can pull up kills and the map will light up where you do most of you killing, with different colors meaning more kills and what not.  If you want to look up where you die most or the normal paths you take, all that is available to look at on bungie.net.  Killzone 2's replay has some unique aspects to it, but it's not exactly new.

Basically, I joined in the big hype build for killzone 2.   Skeuk was posting about a feature of killzone 2's clan system that he thought was new and completly innovative.  However, much of what he was describing had been done in halo 3.  So I joined just to post this information, because I really just went to this site to look at sales.  However, I got caught up in the forums and have been posting ever since. :)

What about you guys?

"Every month I say, "Wow, this must just be a Nintendo month", but the next month is the same.

Goodness, when will it end?"

This was back when Nintendo was absolutely crushing Sony and Microsoft. I don't mean the kind of moderate domination today, but absolute devastation. It was also, coincidentally, the time when the site was majority Nintendo fans. I wanted to be different.

Hey xbox fanboy Shura "More space doesn't mean more quality" Oh really! Hope you can read Reasonable post as it KO you! Also it point out why space is a great additional feature to games. Please do yourself a favor, quit trolling!

OT : EPIC AWESOMENESS!

I am not trying to trolling, and i am not saying than more space is bad, but all depends where is used. Remember the 10 gb of soud for Heavenly sword, and it wasnt the best game ever. I say that because there is a game named CoD 4, one of the best shooter ever, but is not in 50 GB blue ray disc and i doubt than resistance can be that good. And like i said it before, games like FINAL FANTASY really need that space.

So you're saying that CoD4 would have been worse if they had made the SP campaign an hour longer, but had kept the quality high?

You're talking bullshit here, if they had wanted to they could have added more content to the BD without making sacrifices.

You think the game gets worse because it takes up more space? There is no reason why Resistance 2 shouldn't be on level with, or perhaps even better than, CoD4.

Well, my first post doesn't really show that many differences. I was much more of a Sony fanboy back then though (though still reasonable IMO ), and I feel embarrassed about the 'bullshit'... It feels so immature...
