Wii60 fans will keep dreaming until it gets slapped in their faces that mgs4 and ff13 are 'Only for ps3'. How many times do the f'n devs gotta say that it's for ps3 only. They are rumours that people can't get through their thick heads. Kojima said it... At the end of ff13 'ps3 only'. Geez Wii fans on this site are so lame and delusional. Accept it... they are exclusive!!! Also you watch kh3 willbe ps3 aswell... Spins off's for the Wii.

PS3 does need FF13 and MGS4 to remain exclusive however, else that is going to upset a lot of fanboys.

lol just cause a dev keeps saying it is exclusive means jack shit. Capcom did that with RE4 right until 2weeks before the launch of the game.

Anyway it doesn't matter what happens. MGS4 started dev on ps3 so it should look better and play better then if they did make a port to 360. So even if it does happen the PS3 version should be better experience. FF13 i couldnt care less about that game. It can end up on Vii the chinese rip of Wii for all I care.

Multiplatform to 360 might work for MGS4 but in the case of FFXIII, I just don't see the point. Japanese 360 sales are non-existent and as we can see by Blue Dragon and Eternal Sonata, the US 360 base doesn't care much for JRPGs. At this point they might be SOL.

Though that does make me wonder, everyone's so damn sure these are going to be 360 ports, but...what if they pull a Monster Hunter 3 and go Wii?

 Has that been confirmed yet. I'd really like to buy that with Pario and Nelda.

Capcom also realized that they wouldnt make jack on the gamecube. But the difference is that MGS4 and FFXIII are co-published by Sony.

They're boring, based in fantasy worlds exclusively, and feature advanced turn-based fighting. My take on it anyway...

Konami's President has said MGS4 needs to be cross platform to earn their money back.

Square-Enix is developing FFXIII with a multiplatform engine.

It's not hard to see at all the evidence stacking up here. I just feel bad for people who sunk $600 bucks into the PS3 in hopes of being the only ones who could play these games.

2). Kaz sent flowers for the Metal Gear 20th Anniversary Party. Sending flowers for events like this is a Japanese custom. Street Fighter II creator Yoshiki Okamoto sent flowers, too. Kaz's were prettier, though.



3). Sony sent Hideo a gaming cake and booze for the MG 20th Party. Gaming cake? Serious.

4). Kojima Prods. have stated that MGS4 was being developed especially for PS3 hardware.

5). Sony is producing the Metal Gear Solid movie.



6). The Metal Gear 20th Anniversary cell phone is a Sony product.

7). At the Metal Gear 20th Anniversary Party, Phil Harrison appeared in a video letter. I didn't really hear it because I was too busy trying to talk to the Microsoft Japan honcho.



8). Hideo told Luke it was for the PS3. No way he could lie to Luke. No way.



9). Snake uses a SIXAXIS in MGS4.

Speaking with Gamasutra, Dille was asked what the deal was with Konami casting some doubt on the title's exclusivity just before E3.

"There was something that came out prior to (the Sony E3 keynote) announcement. Our folks have talked to the Konami folks, and until the announcement was out from our side, I think they were being a little bit cagey. But the agreement calls for exclusivity, the announcement's been made, and now people know the real story."

The agreement calls for exclusivity. Doesn't get much more cast-iron than that. Unless you want to poke at the definition of the term exclusive, but just for today, let's not.
