The new Arcade model came out with HDMI but costs $30 more? Is it worth it tell me?

Don't get me wrong i love that they added HDMI to arcade but why increase the price to do so and lower the price for a more advance console all the consoles are around the same price now.

Microsoft was rather smart making you pay more for the arcade so hopefully the elite being $70 more who wouldn't get a elite instead of arcade. Should we say good-bye to the arcade soon?

All i can say is microsoft knows how to earn money by bringing hype for the elite but leaving out oh-yah we are raising the price of arcade to compensate... Its not a high price hike but arcade sells alot more than their pro and elite. So those dollars add-up.

Those stores surely are greedy, as the official MS statement claims the Arcade at $199, the remaining Pro's at $249 and the Elite at $299.

Those are canadian websites, not US websites. Canada uses canadian dollars, not US dollars so prices can be different from USA. And 360 arcade has had HDMI for a while already.

Ok, Than why are the Elite prices the same and the Pro? Its same pricing are dollar has been around equal for a while. Its Microsoft scaming us canadians.

I don't even know if you can even call that a price drop replacing the pro with elite for the same $299.....it's like a 80gb ps3 getting replaced by 160gb ps3 for the same price $399.....=.=

I bought my Elite yesterday to take advantage of a $50 Gift Cert special, when the price was at $399...I'll be heading in tomorrow to collect my $100 back...So I paid $249 for my new Elite...and I'll turn around and sell if for at least $200...with about 50 OXM demo disc...$50 for a new Elite...I'm loving it!
