PS3 will outsell Xbox 360 on that particular month or two then slightly outsell after that, but 360 will still have the upper hand in softwares.

A good part of sales will be people getting rid of their original PS3's for PS3 slims. I can see sales being really good but how many will be new owners vs. owners that are buying another PS3 or trading in their original for a slim?

Poeple always seem to be forgetting that the 360 dropped $100 as well.

If it wasn't for that, I think the PS3 would slightly beat 360 this holiday season, but without it, no.

PS3 will obviously win Japan (Japan is also the only region they have at outselling the Wii this holiday).

PS3 will beat 360 in Europe just barely and be just barely behind in America.

I bet the PS3 outsells 360 in North America until about February/March at the very least, and worldwide for much longer than that.

It's gonna be closer than fanboys think.

We will see what happens once the sales figures are out.

I see the slim having an impact on PS3 sales, that much is obvious. But it seems most poeople have expectations way too high.
