yeah but i also hope they do 2 bundles...this one and one with the normal slim for 299$...cos this bundle will at least cost 399$ IMO...and with 299$ for a normal Slim and GT5 OMFG...could you imagine that?the biiig sales for HW & SW?they would be no doubt of GT5 will sell 10 mill.

And that GT5 release date has not been confirmed yet.... Q4 2009 could be by finanical calendar for all we know.

This would be an interesting bundle.
Gran Turismo is Sony's biggest franchise. So the game alone will give Sony an incredible boost in sales. The franchise has a strong base in all 3 major markets.

Got to say that it's possible, but that would also put Sony back at the $399 price point that they just left behind. So I don't know. As with anything we'll see.

^^PS3 BC is coming but on PSN only, that will happen when Sony drops the PS2, and Game Voice Chat could still come in other firmwares.

Sony bundles everything, so while this may just be a rumor, you know it's gonna happen.

Sony would be stupid if they didn't bundle GT5 for the holidays.

If the 250 GB somehow had BC, and this bundle were real, I'd get a second PS3.

See, I can understand cost preventing Sony from putting BC in every console, but why not have the higher level one have all the bells and whistles?

That would be insane, a PS3 slim 120gb HDD for $299, and a 250GB PS3 slim and GT5 for $399... Perfect bundle imo, add in LBP with every 120gb and you have a breakthrough game like wii sports

If they added the PS2 hardware again, the console would probably need to be bigger.
