Forums - Gaming Discussion - What is the most Stupidest thing gamers have ever complained about.

This was in another thread:

I bought a console a few years ago and now it is cheaper! I feel ripped off!

The amount of cutscenes in MGS4. I guess people didn't want the story nicely tied up...

People complaining about the graphics on an HD game.

I have some questions about this one:

Are you implying that HD (aka: higher resolution) = better graphics.  I can tell you that simply upping the resolution of a game to 1080i does not mean it has good graphics.  I could rig my 22'' monitor to play FF7 PC version at 1680x1050, but it would look like crap.  In fact, it would look worse than a CRT monitor displaying the game at 640x480.

Or maybe you are referring to the graphical power of the PS3/XBOX360.  I know my best friend who is actived duty in the army would complain that the graphics are not as good as what he is used to on his PC.

Even if you are talking strictly XBOX360/PS3 graphics, I will complain about the graphics in Fallout 3 (for example).  The frame rate takes a hit quite often in that game -- Too often for a current gen console.  I find that unnacceptable and plan to buy the game again on the PC.

Lastly, even if a game is amazing graphically in the technical aspect, it could still look like crap.  The best example right now is The Conduit vs. Metroid Prime 3.  I would say that Metroid Prime 3 has better graphics than The Conduit simply on the basis Metroid Prime 3 looks better.

Really, I just felt like playing devil's advocate there.  All true, however.

People saying that consoles are better than PCs (forgetting price)

Don't like a keyboard, then buy a damn controller or race wheel.

Oblivion

I hate Oblivion haters. There's too many.

Thankfully there are enough Oblivion lovers though.

same here, Bethesda ROCKS!!!

Personally, I hate people that complain that all DLC should be free (nevermind the fact that it was developed after the game was already made)  My opinion, when DLC is done right, it is the greatest improvement this gen has offered to games!

I have heard of the "no dying" system in Prince of Persia.  It sounds like the way Prey was.  That, in essence, ruined the game because there was no challenge.  If the character dies, it just refills your life after a short cut scene.  It is also kinda like how the dying system works in Bioshock.  Turns Big Daddys as dangerous as oversized teddy bears.

Sony fanboys complaining about the cost of Xbox Live when they don't own an Xbox 360.
